Clamshell Packaging

A clamshell pack is a single piece container consisting of two hinged halves that close together. At British falcon plastics we find these to be incredibly popular designs due to their versatility and ease of use when it comes to both packing products and also for customers unboxing them.

We produce both heavy duty clamshells, for heavy items such as nails and screws and to protect delicate items such as Easter eggs, and lightweight clamshells designed to showcase products that don’t need protecting so much such as solid chocolate shapes.

You can select either an of the shelf solution or our design team will work with you to create a package that not only functions well, but adds to the aesthetic appeal of your product. Working with you, we design clamshells, build the production tooling, and ship the product on time at a competitive price.

We can provide clamshells with a mechanical “snap-to-close” fit, or ready to be glued, heatsealed, plastic welded or stapled later on.
